Crap, Life is a Garage Sale

What to do when someone treats you like shit

I look at life like a garage sale: someone’s trash is another’s treasure.

I’ve said before that I’m a complicated mis-wired crazy mess, a sweet but spicy and salty acquired taste not everyone likes.

Just because someone doesn’t value me — doesn’t mean I’m not valuable.

Even trash has value. Look at farmers. We think of crap as trash…they see it as fertilizer.

If I’m treated and discarded like crap I have to remember that even someone else’s crap is another’s fertilizer. One person can discard me, but I can nurture, feed, and help another soul grow into something beautiful — because we are ALL valuable in some way.

I can’t focus on the ways I’ve been let go — I need to focus on the ways I can help others grow.

How can you help others grow around you? What ways do you have that fertilize others’ dreams?

You are valuable, too.
